Preface: Chi-Town

Every tale has a beginning, and mine is in Chicago. Since graduation in December, I have been working at a local church as a worship leader. The past 7 months have come with its trials, but also its joys. Chicago has become my home with all of my friends, my family, and of course, my home climbing gym. For the past 4 years, Chicago has been my training ground, and now I'm being shipped out.

God is now calling me to a new ministry at a church outside of Grand Rapids where I will be serving as both a youth pastor and music director. It will be challenging, but equally enjoyable as I fill God's purpose for my life. I know very few people here, and am not familiar with the Michigan territory, so this truly will be an adventure.

Now that the boring stuff is out of the way, I can share a bit about what's going on. In just a few days, I will hopefully (I say this because my car is having troubles and might not be fixed in time) be making the move out to Michigan after countless trips for interviews, meetings, and apartment tours.

As I prepare for the move and conclude my life in Chicago, I would ask for your prayers on the moving process and transition process into both a new church family and a new place of residency.

Ready to go,
-B
